OUR 3 FOCUS AREAS
LEADERSHIP & ADVOCACY
Learn about climate change and the environment in a way that is easy to understand. Our beginner workshops is run in community languages. Using clear non-jargon language, we help build your confidence in understanding the science, policies and economics of climate change and environmental sustainability. Facilitated as a judgment-free space, you can ask questions, explore ideas and grow your understanding of how people and planet are connected.

Build your leadership in sustainability and climate action. Together with other community leaders, you’ll strengthen your advocacy, strategy, and storytelling skills to grow your influence. We’ll help you find your voice as a trusted leader, one who can inspire and mobilise others toward a brighter, more sustainable future. Previous alumni have gone on to land key leadership roles in environmental and climate organisations, whilst others have launched new initiatives for a climate safe future.

Based of our book, Uncommon Sense, this is "Systems Thinking 2.0". Designed an applied learning program, it is for organisations who seek to build campaigns that do more than address the symptoms of the problem and want to tackle problems at their root causes. You and your team will explore tried a tested Systems Thinking methodology alongside innovations in campaigning and strategic communications tools that have been co-created by over 120 contributors from over 20 countries. Organisations will also receive post-training coaching to help with the implomentation process.

CROSS-CULTURAL COLLABORTION
Equip yourself with the skills, knowledge, attributes, behaviours to lead across cultures. This training is for organisations and teams within organisations to learn how to co-design campaigns and strategies that connect deeply with culturally diverse communities. Grounded in evidence based research in culturally framed messaging, you will learn about yourself, your team and your intended target audience in a live strategy planning format that can be acted on as soon as you complete the prorgram.

Go beyond basic DEI training and learn how to navigate a culturally complex world with confidence. This program focuses on mindsets that help you understand yourself and others through a cross-cultural lens. In doing so help you to work more effectively in multicultural teams, negotiations and collaborations. You will gain the skills, knowledge, attributes, behaviours to move more fluently through multicultural and multilateral spaces with ease, authenticity and impact.

From a Facebook group to a national force for change. With the support of MLI’s Incubation and Acceleration Program, Asian-Australians for Climate Solutions now stands as one of Australia’s foremost climate advocacy NGOs, giving a powerful voice to the 20% of Australians who are of Asian descent.

Learn how to bring your idea to life. Designed as a long term coaching program with training intervals you will deep dive into the mechanics of setting up a change making organisation. If you already lead an organisation, you will deep dive into how to take your organisation to the next level. Supported by a community of practice of other Founders and CEOs, your organisation may be offered a grant from MLI or provided with grantor matchmaking to help scale up your change-making ambitions.
